the day I was hit by a cab

Last Saturday August 15th, exactly a week from yesterday, I was hit by a cab on 77th and Broadway at 2:30am crossing the street in front of Big Nick's.  It was also my friend Gaby's, 22nd birthday.  (I'm sorry for ruining your birthday gabs) 

I broke my clavicle (collar bone) and tore my acl.  As of now, I do not need surgery, but that means I am not going anywhere any time soon ie no work, no galleries, no concerts... and no US Open big bummer
